Artist Statement

My creative process tends to move in waves. It can be chaotic at times, but it's always intuitive and shaped by the rhythm of my life. When I am making art, I fall into a flow state and things just click and the noise of the world fades. I've learned to trust to my inner rhythm and the natural cycle of creativity, honoring rest and reflection as much as the act of making. In a world that rushes by and overwhelms the senses, I make art to slow down, peel back the layers, and return to the deeper parts of myself. I hope my work gently invites others to do the same.
